Social Bookmarking

Social Bookmarking is a way to find information online, bookmark it, and share it to people who have the same interests as you. The benefits of social bookmarking are finding interests quickly and finding new people with the same interests/hobbies. I could personally use it for finding research for projects and finding new things to try.

How to Make a Regular Glove a Touchscreen Glove

-Many touchscreen gloves are overpriced
-they don't always last forever so now you can give just a regular pair of gloves the ability to use touchscreen devices
-get silver-plated nylon thread, silver conducts electricity
-then take a pair of gloves to modify, you shouldn't use leather
-sew the silver thread into the index finger of your glove where the thread will make contact with both your finger and the device

Wiki Info

What are the benefits of using a wiki?
How can we create one in this class and utilize it?
What experience do you have using or creating wikis?

The benefits of using a wiki is that it allows easier access to not only finding information, but organizing it. If we as a class were to create a wiki, each of us could edit and save additions to the wiki page and maintain it. I personally have never created a wiki, but I have searched on Wikipedia and wiki answers before.

Summer Vacation :)

picture taken by me of the beach in Punta Cana
Over the summer, I went to Punta Cana in the  Dominican Republic with two other families. It was an amazing experience, even though I got sick a few days before we departed! When we first arrived, the weather was a lot warmer than here and the sun was very hot. Our resort was gigantic and included seven large pools with swim-up pool bars, many restaurants, and a private beach. While we were staying there we met a lot of new people and had fun playing volleyball on the beach, swimming in the clear blue water, and snorkeling. By the time we got home, we all missed the paradise that we will definitively be going back to someday; I can't wait until we do.

Welcome!

Hello, my name is Jenna and I am a freshman here in WRHS. I play softball in the Spring, Summer, and Fall and have been playing for nine years now. I sing, draw, take pictures and write in my spare time and i have a  younger sister who is in second grade. I have lived in W-R for my entire life and aspire to possibly leave someday. My family is gigantic-it consists of about sixty people so the family birthday parties are huge. However, at Christmas we are all flooded with presents since there are so many people. We have a new baby on the way and we are all very excited! Well, that is my introduction and I can't wait to begin posting.
